Refund Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

We want refunds to be fair and clear. Because TickTap is the ticket seller of record, we handle your refund directly where one is due, including the booking fee in the cases set out below.

If we can't fulfil your order

If, after you pay, we're unable to issue your ticket (for example a technical failure or the last tickets selling out in the same moment), you'll be refunded in full automatically, including the booking fee. You don't need to do anything.

If an event is cancelled

If the organiser cancels the event, you're entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. We pass through the organiser's refund and, where the cancellation is the organiser's decision, we also refund our booking fee.

If an event is rescheduled or materially changed

  • Your ticket normally remains valid for the new date.
  • If you can't make the new date, or the event changes in a significant way (for example venue or headline act), you may request a refund of the face value.
  • Requests should be made within 14 days of the change being announced.

Change of mind

Tickets for scheduled events are generally non-refundable for change of mind, which is standard for live events. This does not affect your statutory rights where they apply.

How to request a refund

Email support@ticktap.example with your order reference (it's on your ticket). We'll confirm within one working day.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Duplicate or already-scanned tickets

Each ticket's QR code is valid for one entry. We can't refund a ticket that has already been scanned in at the event.
